1: Locate the best position for the oil storage tank and install the mounting bracket with ¼" bolts or self-tapping metal screws. The tank can be at any angle either vertically, horizontally or with the opening facing down.
 
2: Remove the oil pressure-sending unit on the engine and replace it with a tee fitting.
And connect the hose from the engine to the solenoid valve on the storage tank.

3: Run the positive wire from solenoid valve to the fuse block and attach it to a fuse that will supply 12-volt current when the key is on, then connect the ground wire from solenoid valve to one of the mounting bracket bolts. 

OPERATION

Now that you have installed the AutoEngineLube kit it's time to test the system.

Check your engine oil and verify that it is at the correct level.

Start the engine and let it run for 20-30 seconds or until the maximum oil pressure is registered. That's all it takes to fill and pressurize the storage tank.

Turn the engine off and check the oil level again to determine how much to add to bring it up to the correct level again.

Now turn the key on but don't engage the starter and observe the low oil pressure red light going off or the oil pressure gauge rising.   

That's all it takes to verify that the installation was done correctly and is operational.
